Board the historic Manx Electric Railway in Douglas or Laxey and travel through stunning coastal and countryside scenery to the charming town of Ramsey. On arrival, enjoy a warm welcome at the award-winning Fynoderee Distillery, where you’ll go behind the scenes on a guided tour, discover the Manx folklore that inspired the brand, and enjoy a tutored tasting of their celebrated gins, vodka, and rum.

At the Distillery On arrival in Ramsey, your destination is the award-winning Fynoderee Distillery, located just steps from the railway station. Named after a giant from Manx folklore, Fynoderee has become one of the island's most celebrated producers of craft spirits, and The Gin Line gives you exclusive access to their world. Begin your visit with a refreshing welcome drink — a classic "Fyn & Tonic" — before your guide takes you behind the scenes for a full distillery tour. You'll discover the fascinating Manx folklore that inspired the Fynoderee brand, explore the warehouse where the magic happens, and learn exactly how their exceptional spirits are crafted from botanical to bottle.
The Tasting The highlight of The Gin Line experience is a tutored tasting session, where you'll sample Fynoderee's celebrated range including their Manx Dry Gins, Bumbee Vodka, and Glashtyn Spiced Rum. Your guide will walk you through the tasting notes and the story behind each spirit, making this a genuinely educational as well as enjoyable experience.
Free Time in Ramsey After the tour, the afternoon is yours to enjoy. Relax in The Fyn Bar, browse the distillery gift shop for the perfect souvenir or gift, or take a stroll around Ramsey — one of the Isle of Man's most picturesque towns, with its working harbour, independent shops, and café culture. When you're ready, simply use your included Public Transport Day Pass to board the Manx Electric Railway and return to Douglas at your leisure.

Important Information

The Fynoderee Distillery tour starts at 2:00 PM and finishes at 3:30 PM. Please ensure you arrive in Ramsey in time for the tour’s start.

The distillery is a working environment. Please wear sensible shoes and bring a warm layer, as the warehouse can be chilly. The venue is not currently wheelchair accessible. Tours begin on the first floor; please contact us in advance to discuss alternative arrangements.

The Fynoderee Distillery is located next door to the Manx Electric Railway station and near the Ramsey bus station.
