Tucked away in the Irish Sea, the Isle of Man is one of the British Isles’ best-kept golfing secrets, offering dramatic coastal landscapes and world class play without the mainland crowds.
Based at the premier Comis Hotel & Golf Resort, your itinerary includes three of the island’s finest courses: Castletown Golf Links, set on the dramatic Langness Peninsula and surrounded on three sides by the Irish Sea, is the island’s flagship seaside course, originally designed by Old Tom Morris and Alister MacKenzie to offer classic wind-swept, fast-running links play; Peel Golf Club on the west coast delivers a stark contrast as an authentic woodland parkland course featuring tight, tree-lined fairways carved through pine plantations that demand strategic tee-shot accuracy; while Comis Hotel & Golf Resort near Douglas complements them both as a modern, 200-acre resort-style course with rolling hills, generous fairways, and water hazards.
With short travel times between venues and all logistics seamlessly arranged, you can play at your own rhythm without any schedule pressure. Available as a self-guided package or a small-group break, fully tailored to your ideal pace.
Arrive at your chosen port and board the Steam Packet ferry to Douglas. On Arrival you will be met by your transfer provider and taken to The Comis Hotel & Golf Resort.
If your ferry gets you in with time to spare, there's no need to wait until Day 2 to get started — the course is right on the doorstep and an afternoon round is a fine way to shake off the journey. We can arrange this in advance if you'd like to make it part of your first day.
For those arriving later in the day, Douglas is well worth exploring on your first evening. The Victorian promenade is one of the finest in the British Isles, and there are plenty of good restaurants and bars within easy walking distance of the town centre.
This itinerary can be tailored to your schedule, subject to golf course availability and preferred tee times.
Your transfer provider will take you south to Castletown — the jewel in the island's golfing crown. Set on a dramatic limestone headland with the Irish Sea on three sides, Castletown Golf Links is a genuine championship links course and the one most visiting golfers come to the island specifically to play. Exposed, demanding, and visually stunning — it rewards good course management and punishes wayward shots in equal measure.
After your round, take a short walk into Castletown town centre. Castle Rushen, one of the best-preserved medieval castles in the British Isles, dominates the old harbour and is well worth an hour of your time before the return transfer to Douglas.
This itinerary can be tailored to your schedule, subject to golf course availability and preferred tee times.
Today you will travel west to Peel, the island's only city and one of its most atmospheric towns. Peel Golf Club sits on elevated ground above the town with sweeping views across the west coast — a very different test from Castletown, with tighter fairways and moorland character.
After your round, Peel itself is a fine place to spend an afternoon. The ruins of Peel Castle on St Patrick's Isle are dramatic at any time of year, and the town's working harbour and independent pubs and cafés make it one of the most enjoyable spots on the island for a late lunch before the transfer back to Douglas.

After checking out, transfer to the Douglas Sea Terminal for your departure. For guests with afternoon or evening sailings, why not book a final round of golf, take advantage of the driving range, or relax at the hotel's spa and pool.
