Overview
Take a step back in time with a journey aboard the historic Manx Electric Railway, travelling independently from Douglas to Ramsey through some of the Isle of Man’s most scenic landscapes. On arrival, head to the award-winning Fynoderee Distillery for a warm welcome and a guided behind-the-scenes tour.
Begin with a refreshing “Fyn & Tonic” before discovering the folklore that inspired the Fynoderee brand. Explore the distillery warehouse, learn how their spirits are made, and enjoy a tutored tasting of their celebrated Manx Dry Gins, Bumbee Vodka, and Glashtyn Spiced Rum.
Afterwards, relax in The Fyn Bar, browse the gift shop, or explore Ramsey before returning to Douglas using your day pass at your leisure.
What’s Included
- Isle of Man Public Transport Day Pass. Unlimited travel on the Manx Electric Railway and other scheduled public transport services on the same day. Travel is self-guided – make your own way to and from Ramsey at your preferred times.
- Welcome “Fyn & Tonic” on arrival at the distillery
- Guided distillery tour (2:00 PM – 3:30 PM) including the Fynoderee story and Manx folklore, behind-the-scenes access to the warehouse and insight into the production and bottling of their spirits.
- Tutored tasting of Manx Dry Gins, Bumbee Vodka and Glashtyn Spiced Rum.
- Free time at The Fyn Bar and distillery shop
Information
The Fynoderee Distillery tour starts at 2:00 PM and finishes at 3:30 PM. Please ensure you arrive in Ramsey in time for the tour’s start.
The distillery is a working environment. Please wear sensible shoes and bring a warm layer, as the warehouse can be chilly. The venue is not currently wheelchair accessible. Tours begin on the first floor; please contact us in advance to discuss alternative arrangements.
The Fynoderee Distillery is located next door to the Manx Electric Railway station and near the Ramsey bus station.
