The roads here are unlike anything you’ll find on the mainland. Sweeping mountain passes, fast coastal straights, tight village sections, and technical bends through wooded glens — all on public roads that remain largely unchanged from the ones that have defined motorcycle racing for over a century. You’ll recognise corners, straights, and landmarks from race footage and commentary long before you get there. Riding them yourself is something else entirely.

The Isle of Man is also a natural destination for motorcycle clubs. Whether you’re a small group of friends or a larger organised club run, the island has the roads, the heritage, and the atmosphere to make it a trip your members will talk about for years. Get in touch when booking and we’ll tailor the package to suit your group.
Lokale Unterstützung ist während Ihres gesamten Aufenthalts auf der Insel verfügbar, falls Sie diese benötigen.

Itinerary

Day 1 — Arrival

Arrive at your chosen UK port and ride onto the Steam Packet ferry to Douglas. Disembark and make your way to your hotel — the Sea Terminal is right in the heart of Douglas, so you'll be checked in and ready to explore within minutes of leaving the boat.

Your welcome pack will be waiting at the hotel, including your Motor Museum admission ticket and riding information for the days ahead. The rest of the day is yours — Douglas promenade is a fine place to stretch your legs after the crossing, and there's no shortage of good food and drink within easy reach.

Day 2 — The TT Mountain Course

Today is the one most riders have been waiting for. The full TT Mountain Course is a public road and can be ridden at any time outside of race and practice closures — and riding it for the first time, recognising every corner and straight from years of watching, is an experience that stays with you.

Start in Douglas and follow the course anticlockwise through Ballacraine, Kirk Michael, Ramsey, and up onto the Mountain — the long climb to Brandywell and the descent past the Bungalow to the Gooseneck and Ramsey Hairpin. Return via the Waterworks and back into Douglas. Take your time, stop often, and soak it in.

A stop in Ramsey for lunch is well worth building into the day — the town sits at the northern end of the course and has a good selection of cafés and pubs.

Day 3 — The Isle of Man Motor Museum, Jurby

Head north today to Jurby and the Isle of Man Motor Museum — your admission ticket is included in your package. The collection spans over a century of motorcycle and motorsport history, from early TT racers to modern superbikes, and for any serious enthusiast it's an essential few hours.

The ride to Jurby takes you through the quieter roads of the north of the island — a different character from the Mountain Course, with long flat straights across the northern plain and big open skies. After the museum, the Andreas and Bride roads offer some enjoyable riding before heading back south.

Day 4 — The South & West

Today explores the roads less travelled — the south and west of the island, where the landscape changes and the traffic thins out further still.

Head south through Castletown and along the bay before continuing to the island's southern tip at The Sound — a dramatic headland looking out across the Calf of Man, and one of the finest viewpoints on the island. It's worth stopping and taking it in before turning north along the west coast.

The Sloc Road is the highlight of the return leg — a sweeping climb through open moorland above the western coast that is as good a motorcycle road as you'll find anywhere in the British Isles. Fast, flowing, and largely traffic-free, it's the kind of road you'll want to do twice. Continue north to Peel for a well-earned lunch at the harbour before the return to Douglas via the central valley roads.

Day 5 — Departure

Check out and ride to the Sea Terminal in Douglas for your return sailing. If your ferry departs in the afternoon, the promenade is a fine place for a final coffee — or one last lap of whatever road you didn't quite get enough of during the week.
