Northern Adventure: Wheels, Crosses and Castles is a small-group guided minibus tour exploring the rugged beauty and rich heritage of the north of the Isle of Man. Departing Douglas, this half-day journey takes in some of the island’s most iconic northern sites, including the Great Laxey Wheel, the largest working waterwheel in the world, and the Maughold Celtic Crosses, an ancient churchyard filled with Viking and Celtic carvings. From there, the route continues to the harbour town of Ramsey, historic Peel Castle and Tynwald Hill, home to the world’s oldest continuous parliament.
