The Private Isle of Man TT Course Experience takes you around the legendary TT Mountain Course with your own driver-guide and an itinerary built around your group.
Follow the full 37¾-mile circuit through Douglas, Glen Vine, Ballacraine, Kirk Michael and Ramsey before climbing the famous Mountain Road. Along the way, your guide will bring the course to life with stories from the TT, famous incidents, racing lines and the challenges riders face at some of the world’s best-known corners.
Your private experience can also include a visit to the Isle of Man Motor Museum, home to more than 500 exhibits and a working restoration workshop.
Unlike our shared TT Course & Motor Museum Tour, this experience is exclusively for your group. That gives you more time to stop at the places that interest you, take photographs and shape the tour around your particular interest in the TT and Manx motorsport.
Is this a private tour?
Yes. The tour is exclusively for your group, with your own vehicle and driver-guide. No other guests will join you.
Combien de temps dure la visite ?
The standard Private Isle of Man TT Course Experience lasts approximately 4.5 hours, including the TT Mountain Course and a visit to the Isle of Man Motor Museum.
Do we travel the full TT Mountain Course?
Yes, subject to road conditions and closures. You’ll follow the full 37¾-mile TT Mountain Course and hear about its famous corners, landmarks and racing history along the way.
Can we stop at particular places on the TT Course?
Yes. One advantage of a private tour is the flexibility. If there are particular corners, locations or parts of the course you’d like to see, let us know when you enquire, and we’ll plan these into the tour where possible.
Will our guide be a former TT racer?
We work with experienced TT guides, including former racers. If having an ex-racer as your guide is particularly important to you, let us know when enquiring and we’ll advise on availability.
Is admission to the Isle of Man Motor Museum included?
Yes. Admission to the Isle of Man Motor Museum is included when the museum forms part of your itinerary.
Can the tour be tailored around our interests?
Yes. If you’re particularly interested in a rider, era of the TT, specific corners or another aspect of Manx motorsport, tell us when you enquire. We’ll use this to help shape your experience.
Where does the tour start?
We can arrange pickup from your accommodation in Douglas, the Isle of Man Sea Terminal, or another agreed location. If you’re staying elsewhere on the island, let us know when enquiring.
Is the tour suitable for cruise passengers?
Yes. We can arrange the experience around your ship’s scheduled arrival and departure times. The itinerary may be adjusted depending on how much time you have ashore.
What happens if the TT Mountain Course is closed?
The TT Course uses public roads, and sections can occasionally close because of events, incidents or weather conditions. If a closure affects your tour, we’ll discuss the available options and adapt the itinerary where possible.
How many people can join the private tour?
Private tours can be arranged for different group sizes, subject to vehicle availability. Let us know how many people are travelling when you enquire, and we’ll recommend the most suitable option.
Do I need to be a TT expert to enjoy the tour?
Not at all. Whether you’re a lifelong TT fan, visiting the island because of its motorsport history or simply curious about the race, your guide will tailor the commentary to your level of interest and knowledge.
