Staying for four nights in Douglas, you’ll enjoy three guided walking days, each covering approximately 4–5 miles at a comfortable pace. Along the way you’ll explore historic towns, dramatic coastal paths and hidden glens while your experienced local guide shares the island’s fascinating history, culture and wildlife.

Travel by ferry to the Isle of Man and check into your chosen accommodation in Douglas. Spend the rest of the day settling in before your walking adventure begins.
After breakfast, meet your guide and walk to Douglas Railway Station to board the historic Isle of Man Steam Railway for the journey to Ballasalla.
Today's walk follows the peaceful Silverburn River through one of the island's most historic landscapes. Visit the atmospheric ruins of Rushen Abbey, cross the medieval Monk's Bridge and enjoy the tranquil surroundings of Silverdale Glen before continuing into Castletown, the island's ancient capital.
There will be time to explore the town, enjoy lunch at your leisure and, if you wish, visit Castle Rushen, one of Europe's best-preserved medieval castles, before returning to Douglas by steam train.

Travel on the historic Manx Electric Railway to the picturesque village of Laxey, where today's walk combines heritage, countryside and coastal scenery.
Visit the ancient burial site known as King Orry's Grave before following quiet tracks and woodland paths towards the impressive Great Laxey Wheel, the world's largest working waterwheel. Along the way your guide will share the stories of the island's mining heritage and rural communities.
After time to explore Laxey and enjoy lunch, return to Douglas on the Manx Electric Railway.

This morning travel by bus to St John's, home of Tynwald Hill, the oldest continuous parliamentary site in the world.
Your walk explores the surrounding countryside before continuing towards the west coast and the historic fishing town of Peel. Enjoy time to explore Peel's narrow streets, harbour and cafés, with the opportunity to visit Peel Castle, dramatically positioned on St Patrick's Isle.
Return to Douglas by scheduled bus.

After breakfast, check out of your accommodation and make your way to the ferry terminal for your return sailing.
