As one of the British Isles’ best-kept culinary secrets, the Isle of Man offers a hyper-local, exceptionally fresh dining experience shaped by pristine seas, lush pastures, strict purity laws, and an absence of mass industrial farming. Designed for an intimate group of no more than 16 guests, this gourmet getaway includes three nights of premium four-star accommodation in the capital of Douglas, seamless transport through scenic coastal and rural landscapes, and curated dining showcasing the finest Manx produce. Guests will enjoy private, behind-the-scenes tours and tastings at The Fynoderee Distillery, Foraging Vintners seaside winery, and the heritage Loaghtan sheep farm at Ballacosnahan, all topped off with a bespoke artisan goodie bag to take the island’s unique flavors home.
Welcome to the Isle of Man (Failt). Once you’ve checked in, relax and unwind, or head out for a relaxing stroll along the promenade.
The culinary journey begins in Douglas with a curated set brunch and an immersive coffee-cupping session at Noa Bakehouse, pairing locally roasted coffee with their famous hand-crafted sourdough and seasonal Manx ingredients. From there, step inside Robinsons, one of the island’s premier food hubs, for live supplier demonstrations to meet local artisans and sample regional delicacies at first hand. The day culminates at The Fynoderee Distillery with a welcoming ‘Fyn and Tonic’, followed by a behind-the-scenes look at traditional distillation methods. After a guided tasting of botanical-infused spirits, vodkas, and handcrafted Manx rums, guests will round off the day with an afternoon tea showcasing local produce, served in the Fyn Bar. Evening at leisure.
The day starts at Coast restaurant with a hearty, locally sourced Manx breakfast, before heading west into the countryside to visit Ballacosnahan Farm. Here, guests will meet the ancient, multi-horned Manx Loaghtan sheep, learn about the farm’s conservation ethos, and sample artisanal Loaghtan salami. A stop at Glen Helen Farm Shop follows, nestled by a woodland glen, offering an opportunity to browse an array of regional cheeses, preserves, and 100% Manx-grown goods and crafts. Moving west to Peel’s historic quayside, lunch is served at The Boatyard, featuring a seafood tasting menu that showcases local fishing boat catches and the island's renowned Manx Queenies directly by the marina. The day draws to a close at Port Erin Bay with panoramic coastal views at Foraging Vintners, where guests will enjoy a seaside winery tour, an Isle of Man Salt Company harvesting demonstration complete with a bespoke sea salt cocktail, and artisan tasting plates paired with small-batch ciders and sparkling wines. Evening at leisure.
Following breakfast, it is time to say goodbye (Slane lhiat) to the island. You will depart carrying delicious memories of hyper-local dining, craft tastings, and the warm hospitality of Manx producers. Guests can arrange a private transfer to travel smoothly onwards to the Sea Terminal or airport.
